Clinisys™ Blood Bank Management is a comprehensive and fully compliant Blood Bank solution with multi-facility inventory control, automation, and patient safety measures. Our solution enables you to manage blood products issued to patients in a hospital or centralised transfusion service.

Designed to provide greater efficiency and prevent duplication, this system fully integrates with remote blood storage devices through bi-directional interfaces compatible with all major blood testing analyzers. ISBT Code 128 barcodes are supported, providing easy access to a comprehensive audit of all unit transactions.

Clinisys Blood Bank Management encompasses all functionalities for the entry and issuance of crossmatch products. It includes stock breakdowns that highlight minimum stock levels, instant unit and patient transfusion history, sample validity checks, and positive patient selection. Additionally, it provides on-screen alerts for mismatches, expired units, patient group disparities, and product-specific special requirements.
Enabling laboratory compliance
Manufactured under ISO 13485 quality management system and 510(k) cleared by the US FDA, Clinisys™ SQ BloodBank and Blood Donor enables ISO 15189 and ISO 17025 support for your laboratory systems. Key features include an integral rules base, comprehensive audit trail, and barcode-enabled throughout.
Clinisys™ Blood Bank Management, a new solution under development, is planned to follow a similar regulatory path to ensure laboratory compliance.
Stock management
Clinisys Blood Bank Management provides extensive stock management options featuring a robust interface to NHSBT, enabling stock entry through the Electronic Delivery Note (EDN). This support ensures that all current products issued by NHSBT are fully managed.
