Following the NHS’s drive to consolidate pathology services into efficient regional hub and spoke networks, CliniSys needed a hosting partner they could trust implicitly. Moving to Telefónica Tech’s secure managed hosting, delivered the resilience, scalability, and security demanded by the NHS and essential for CliniSys to successfully run 10 of the newly formed networks.

CliniSys will replace the seven IT systems used by Northern Ireland’s hospital trusts’ pathology disciplines and the Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion service with a single instance of WinPath Enterprise. WinPath Enterprise will be deployed to five trusts, the blood transfusion service and GLIMS Genomics to the national genetics service in Belfast This significant investment will underpin the modernisation and reform of pathology services in Northern Ireland and enable future innovation.

As part of the pandemic management in France, detecting and tracing Covid-19 cases is critical for a successful recovery from the crisis and the protection of the French people. This is the purpose of the national SI-DEP (Système d’Informations de DEPistage) project implemented by the French Ministry of Health and Solidarity, which selected and commissioned CliniSys | MIPS, in partnership with the AP-HP hospital group, for this task. The CyberLab electronic order entry and result consultation system is at the heart of SI-DEP’s IT platform.
