Clinisys Customer Summit | ICE 2024

Clinisys held our Customer Summit at The Belfry, West Midlands for our ICE Order Communications customers on the 14th & 15th November 2024.

Our two-day programme consisted of educational conference sessions, training, company updates and an exhibition of partner suppliers. We saw around 170 delegates over the two days.

The first day, Thursday 14th November was a conference session with presentations by a number of distinguished speakers giving insights into the direction of healthcare in the NHS specific to order communications and IT. The second day, Friday 15th November, provided delegates with a choice from a number of presentation streams, special interest groups and workshops on various topics. This event was a dedicated event of our ICE customers and was focused on their requirements.

A selection of the highlights over the two days included:

• NHS England Standards – presented on the long overdue requirement to send new laboratory tests and enhance the data quality, accuracy, and comparability of patient test reporting from laboratories to GP patient records. The planned data flow pilots with laboratory middleware suppliers and GP suppliers will be explained and the replacement of the patient test data flow with FHIR messaging and SNOMED CT, with a view to full roll out across the laboratories in England.
• NHS England Cyber – Covered how to protect your critical systems whilst not restricting clinical teams
• Dr Rizwan Malik – Presented “Delivering integrated digital imaging across multiple organisations”
• Introduction to the “Clinisys Hub”
• How to ace your ICE v8 upgrade
• A workshop covering ICE Administration in the new UI
• Launch of the Ideas Portal to once again gather your development suggestions for ICE
